When would you like collections to start?

Optional: for example 'as soon as possible' or 'March 2027'. We set the dates with you. For fresh or chilled semen intended for the European Union, the stallion arrives at the centre at least thirty days before the first collection.

Use of the semen and health rules

The semen will be used

The health requirements of this country are agreed with the centre before the first collection.

The health rules for each use are set out in the conditions for stallion services. For fresh or chilled semen intended for the European Union, the stallion arrives at the centre at least thirty days before the first collection; for frozen semen, programme C requires no stay at the centre.

Health tests

The tests, at the stallion owner's expense, are carried out

by my own veterinarian, who sends you a copy of the results

at the collection centre (the stallion's stay is then longer)

Declarations by the owner or keeper

The stallion has not been used for natural cover in the thirty days before the first samples and will not be during the collection period, including while he is at my premises.

During the thirty days before the first collection, the stallion was kept on one or more holdings where no equine showed clinical signs of equine viral arteritis or contagious equine metritis.

The stallion's holding of origin has had no case of equine infectious anaemia in the last 90 days, of dourine in the last 6 months or of surra in the last 30 days, and is not subject to any movement restriction for any of these diseases.

Place(s) where he was kept during this period

I will inform the centre without delay of any change, in particular when the stallion leaves the centre between two collections: covering, contact with a sick equine or one of unknown health status, antibiotic treatment, any sign of disease.
